My transformation story


3 years ago I got fed up with hiding behind my sweaters and hoodies because i was afaid my muffin top would show. i was tired of huffing and puffing and losing my breath coming up and down stairs. I was tired of looking in the mirror and HATING my body. My self esteem was LOWER than it has EVER been. I used to be STICK skinny in highschool. Then college hit and I gained the freshman 15, PLUS some! Probably from my metabolism slowing and eating mcdonalds and chick fli a every day along with drinking coke and eating lots of ramen. I hadn't worked out, nor was I willing.

Then 3 years ago it hit me. Something came over me and I started to pay more attention to my weight, and what I was eating. I slowly started to work out, 10 mins at a time then before i knew it I was working out an hour at a time 5-6 days a week ON MY OWN. I lucked out because my dad's a personal trainer and he has a gym in his house (he's had one for years but I was never interested til now). His gym PLUS his personal knowledge helped me SOO much! He helped me learn how to use the weights, showed me what to do-how many reps to start with, what routines to do, etc. Before I knew it I was upping all my reps and following his routines to the T. I also got help doing my cardio. He showed me HIT on the treadmill and I think thats where a lot of lbs fell right off. 9 months later of healthy eating, counting calories, exercising (weight and cardio) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY MIND work (i bought a book based JUST on re-working your MIND,basically it helps with temptations and resistance work. It encourages you to think POSITIVELY about yourself and NEVER say anything negative even if you REALLY thinking it, to reverse it.POWERFUL STUFF.THIS IS KEY TO WEIGHT LOSS) I lost 40 lbs!


That was a huge milestone for me. 3 years later I kept the weight off, but slacked working out wise...weight creeped back on this past dec and i gained about 12 lbs. In Jan of this year i made the decision to START over and started working out slowly, doing 10 min trainer 2 times a week. Then built it up to 10 min trainer plus p90. Then once I knew I needed more challenging workouts i started to add some p90x workouts in JUST to see if I was capable. AND I WAS...sooo on MAY 1st I started the program full throttle. p90x is NO JOKE!! I started losing lbs and inches, and before i knew it after p90x i was 5 inches down and 12 lbs down!




Now i'm currently on my 3nd round of p90x NEVER would of thought in a MILLON years that I would be capable of doing 2 rounds of p90x, and now i'm doing ROUND 3,! YOUR BODY IS STRONGER THAN YOU THINK! I used to not be able to do ANY pushups, now i can pop them out! YOU ARE CAPABLE OF WHAT YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN DO. AND I BELIEVE THAT I CAN ACHIEVE THE BEST BODY POSSIBLE. I love eating healthy and I love p90x because it makes me feel SOO empowered like I could take on the world!!! BRING IT!!!!!
